This Privacy Policy explains what information Famula collects when you use the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: the email address and name associated with the account you create (including via sign-in providers such as Google).
- Content you provide: the goals, instructions, settings, and other information you submit so the Service can do what you ask.
- Connected services: when you connect a third-party service (such as email or calendar), we receive the credentials and data you authorize within the scope you grant.
- Usage and device information: technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, actions taken in the Service, and timestamps. This may be collected using cookies and similar technologies.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service for you;
- authenticate you and protect the Service and our users against fraud, abuse, and security threats;
- communicate with you about the Service, including transactional messages, support replies, and important changes;
- measure and improve the Service, debug issues, and develop new features;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. How We Share Information
We share information only as described below:
- Service providers: we use third-party vendors to host the Service, send email, authenticate sign-ins, process payments, run model inference, and perform similar functions. They may access information only to perform services for us and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Connected services you authorize: when you instruct the Service to interact with a third-party service you have connected, we share the information necessary to carry out your instructions.
- Legal and safety: we may disclose information if we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Famula, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: if Famula is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising.
4. Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. We may keep certain information longer where required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements. When you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your information within a reasonable period, subject to those exceptions and to routine backup retention.
6. Your Choices
You can update your account information from the Service. You can disconnect any third-party service you have connected at any time from the Service settings or from the third-party service itself. To request export or deletion of your data, email support@famula.ai.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information to the Service, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
8. International Use
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws in your country.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, by email or in the Service). Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
